MATH TASK : APPLYING CUBES AND CUBOID

Solve the following problems!

1. A classroom is 8 m long, 7 m wide, and 3 m high. If the ideal personal space for a single student is 6 m3, how many students should that room accommodate?

2. An amount of juice beverage is packed into a box of length 5.2 cm and width 3.7 cm. Find the heigth of the box if it is labeled "net 250 ml (cm3)!

3. A cuboid-shaped candle measures 3 cm x 3 cm x 8 cm. How long does it take until the candle compelety burns away if every cm3 of it burn away in 3 minutes?

4. Dani buys 10 beams of rafter each of which is 4 m long, 7 cm wide, and 5 cm high. How much must he pay if every 1 m3 of beam costs Rp. 1,200,000?

5. A swimming pool is 20 m long, 8 m wide and 2 m deep. The swimming pool is cleaned out and then filled up using water pump at rate of 50 liters/second. Find:
a. the volume of the swimming pool,
b. the time needed to fill it up!
